Requirement Details


The CE Shop is an approved licensed real estate school in Florida: License (Permit) Number: ZH1002334

Renewal Date: Every 2 years on March 31st and September 30th. The date you renew every 2 years depends on when you initially took your licensing exam and should be indicated on your license.

Hours required: 14 hours

CE Shop Offering: 14 hours

Reporting: The CE Shop reports completions to the state each Thursday in the afternoon. If your required education is not completed and/or reported, you will NOT be able to renew your license.

Expiration date of course: Courses expire one year after the order date. 

Post Licensing: If this is your first renewal then you must complete your post-license education which must be completed on or before the expiration date of the license of the first renewal. Currently, The CE Shop does NOT offer the post-licensing courses.

Sales associates are required to complete a 45-hr Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Post License Course 18-24 months after obtaining the initial license. Brokers are required to complete TWO 30-hr post-licensing courses -- an investment course and a management course, 18-24 months after obtaining the initial broker's license.

Final Exams: Final exams must be passed with a 80% and may be taken as many times as necessary in order to pass. Allowed 1 1/2 minutes time to answer per question.

Certificates: Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.

Cracking the Code of Ethics
